Hdeel Abdelhady spoke at the Federal Bar Assn’s tax law conference, on lawyers as gatekeepers of the U.S. financial system. The panel addressed practitioners for clients with multi-jurisdictional presence and the different approaches of the United States and other jurisdictions to lawyers as gatekeepers for anti-financial crime purposes, particularly anti-money laundering. Ms. Abdelhady has served on the American Bar Associations’ Task Force on Gatekeeper Regulation and the Profession.
