Hdeel Abdelhady- Emerging Technologies Law and Policy

Hdeel Abdelhady’s legal work includes advising on the regulation of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductors, particularly regarding U.S. export controls. Her experience extends to offering compliance advice for technology companies operating in highly regulated sectors. In her work, Hdeel helps clients navigate the complexities of U.S. export controls and other measures in the context of evolving, national security and foreign-policy based restrictions on cross-border flows of emerging technologies and know how. She provides insights into how emerging technologies, including AI and semiconductors, are regulated under U.S. law. Relatedly, Hdeel teaches a course on regulation of foreign access to U.S. technology.
